建设目标
广东省无线光通信工程技术研究中心主要围绕可见光通信技术,针对室内大容量多媒体通信以及室外多样性信息分发的需求,开展产学研合作,解决照明约束、意外遮挡、强光干扰等问题,掌握照明约束下的高速光传输、异构网络融合等核心技术,完成视频点播、交通诱导、室内定位导航/购、语音对讲通信等产品试制与推广,促进重大科研成果在普适和特种行业的应用转化,提高广东省绿色照明产业的附加值,推动LED无线通信网络技术和产业的发展,从而提升广东省在绿色照明产业的竞争力。
已有科研条件
工程中心广纳了通信、网络、光学工程、电路设计等相关领域高水平专职研究人员15人,以及博士、硕士等10余人。同时配合本工程中心的有效开展,学院还配备了孔雀团队、重点实验室和工程实验室作为技术支撑。为本中心配备的仪器设备与软件原值总计2100万余元,包含了误码分析仪、光谱分析仪、示波器等研究检测设备100余台(套)。工程中心已完成场地改建800平方米,包括研发团队专用的办公、科研场地,硕士生、博士生培养场地等。此外,信息学部大楼正在建设中,预计2019年可以使用。
已取得成果
目前工程中心研究团队针对可见光定位导购系统实现了3处示范应用;针对地下车库的导航和反向寻车实现了2处示范应用;针对语音对讲实现了2处示范应用。这些都为之后的规模产业化提供了验证参考和数据支持。中心团队成员申请了发明专利14项(授权5项)、实用新型专利2项(授权1项)、外观专利4项(授权4项)、软件著作权4项(授权4项);发表学术论文100余篇,其中80%影响因子大于3,学术观点得到同行的认可,学术成果影响广泛,在Web of Science核心合集被引用408次。

Construction aims
Guangdong Wireless Optical Communication Engineering Technology Center, mainly around visible light communication and the demand of indoor large capacity multimedia communication and outdoor diversity information, carries on industry-university- research cooperation and solves problems about constraints of lighting, accident shade, strong light interference, etc. Also, the center researches high-speed optical transmission under lighting constraints and the core technology of heterogeneous network convergence to finish trial production and marketing promotion of VOD, traffic guidance, indoor positioning and navigation/shopping guide, voice intercom and so on, to accelerate the application conversion of scientific achievements in pervasive and special industry, to promote the development of LED wireless communication technology and industry, thereby, to elevate the competitiveness of Guangdong in green lighting industry.
Existing scientific research conditions
The centerhas solicited 15 high-level full-time researchers in communication, network, optical engineering, circuit design and other related fields, as well as more than 10 doctors and masters. Meanwhile, in line with the effective developments of the center, the school equipped with peacock team, key laboratory and engineering laboratory as technical support. The total original value of equipments and software for the center is more than 21million Yuan and the number of them is over 100 sets, including error code analyzer, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope and so on. The center has completed the site reconstruction of 800 square meters, including R&S office, scientific research site, student training ground, etc. In addition, the information department building is under construction, which is expected to operate in 2019.
Scientific achievements
Currently, based on visible light communication, the engineering center has achieved 3 demonstration applications of indoor positioning and navigation/shopping guide, 2 demonstration applications of positioning and navigation at parking, and 2 demonstration applications of voice intercom, which provides verification reference and data for the scale of industrialization. The center team members have applied for 14 invention patents( 5 are authorized), 2 utility model patents(1 is authorized), 1 appearance patents(4 are authorized) and 4 software copyrights(4 are authorized). The Center has published more than 100 academic papers, among which 80% impact factors are greater than 3. And all the papers have cited 408 times in the core collection of Web of Science.
