TSINGHUA INSTITUTES

The Institute for Hospital Management is a university-level interdisciplinary research institute founded in 2012 dedicated to becoming a leader in the field of hospital management research, in training hospital management professionals, and in providing theoretical and technical support for the development of Chinas healthcare industry.

The Center for Hong Kong and Macao Studies (CHKMS) was co-founded by GSST and Tsinghua University’s School of Law on January 12, 2012. CHKMS integrates the multidisciplinary research expertise of Tsinghua University with domestic and international resources and experts to study issues related to Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao. The Center strives to become a hub for experts to conduct research and exchange on current issues about Hong Kong and Macao.

Jointly founded in December 2011 by GSST and Tsinghua’s Department of Precision Instrument and Center for Earth System Science, the Center for Marine Science Technology (CMST) is a multidisciplinary research center dedicated to promoting the development of ocean science and technology at Tsinghua.

Open FIESTA (Open Faculty for Innovation, Education, Science, Technology and Art) was co-established by Tsinghua and the Center for Research and Interdisciplinary (CRI, Paris) in 2015 with the aims to integrate global innovation resources, create new knowledge, and nurture students that are creative, entrepreneurial and with strong social responsibility.
