The Shenzhen Celebration Ceremony for Tsinghua University's 113th Anniversary took place on May 18 at the East Building Complex on the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS) campus. The ceremony was guided by the Tsinghua Alumni Association and hosted by the Shenzhen Tsinghua Alumni Association, SIGS, and the Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen (RITS).
Han Jingyang delivers remarks
Han Jingyang, former deputy secretary of the CPC Tsinghua University Committee and vice president of the Tsinghua Alumni Association, attended the ceremony
and delivered a speech.
Members of the SIGS leadership team, representatives of senior alumni from the Shenzhen Tsinghua Alumni Association, representatives from alumni associations outside Shenzhen, guests from organizations supporting the development of the school, and members of the leadership of the Shenzhen Tsinghua Alumni Association also attended the ceremony.

During the ceremony, Ouyang Zheng, dean of SIGS, and Ji Shishan, dean of RITS, introduced the development of their respective institutions.
Wu Xiaofeng delivers remarks
Wu Xiaofeng, secretary of the SIGS CPC Committee and president of the Shenzhen Tsinghua Alumni Association, delivered a work report on behalf of the Shenzhen Tsinghua Alumni Association and the SIGS chapter of the Tsinghua Alumni Association.

Speeches were also delivered by Tsinghua and SIGS alumni Li Yi, Liu Yong, and He Guang.
A scholarship award ceremony for new master’s students, a flag presentation ceremony for several newly formed alumni chapters, and an award ceremony for a Shenzhen alumni hiking activity were held after the speeches.
Performances from student and alumni groups concluded the ceremony.

In addition to the ceremony, celebration activities included a morning run, a charity walk, an alumni tree donation ceremony, an anniversary carnival, sports competitions (dragon boat, soccer, basketball, table tennis), special anniversary activities for alumni from the incoming classes of 2004 and 2014, exhibitions on SIGS research and talent cultivation, and laboratory tours.
