The Shenzhen Celebration Ceremony for Tsinghua University's 114th Anniversary and the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School’s Milestone Reunion for Alumni took place on May 10. Alumni of Tsinghua University from across the nation reunited in Shenzhen.

Later, Wu Xiaofeng, president of the Shenzhen Tsinghua Alumni Association, delivered a work report on behalf of the Shenzhen Tsinghua Alumni Association. Ji Shishan, dean of the Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen (RIT) introduced the development of RIT.

This year marks the first joint hosting of the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School’s Milestone Reunion for Alumni, where alumni representatives Zhan Xiuyu (Class of 2005) and Song Houfu (Class of 2015) delivered speeches.
An award ceremony for scholarly graduate students, a scholarship award ceremony for new master’s students, and a flag presentation ceremony for several newly formed alumni chapters were held after the speeches. After, exceptional alumni groups were honored.
Performances from student and alumni groups concluded the ceremony.
Representatives from Southern University of Science and Technology, members of Tsinghua SIGS leadership team, representatives from RIT, representative from Tsinghua Alumni Association, and representatives of Tsinghua alumni and SIGS faculty and students also attended the ceremony.
In addition to the ceremony, various celebration activities were held such as a morning run, a charity walk, an anniversary carnival, a singing competition, sports competitions, special anniversary alumni activities, several exhibitions, lectures and forums.
