On May 15, 2025, a delegation of teachers and students from the University of Economics and Business at Vietnam National University, led by Pham Ngoc Huong Quynh, Department Chair of the Faculty of Political Economy, visited the Institute of Innovation Management at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS). Accompanying them were Liao Lu, deputy director of the Technology Transfer Department at the Belt and Road Environmental Technology Exchange and Transfer Center (Shenzhen). The delegation was received by Huang Yuxiong, Deputy Director of the Office of Academic Affairs, and Chair Professor You Haifeng from the Institute of Innovation Management.
Symposium in progress
At the symposium, Huang Yuxiong expressed a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of Tsinghua SIGS. He introduced SIGS' disciplinary fields, talent development, and international campus development, highlighting the 2025 Global Summer School program. You Haifeng shared the Shenzhen model and the unique advantages of the Institute of Innovation Management. Pham Ngoc Huong Quynh expressed appreciation to Tsinghua SIGS and noted the long-standing friendly cooperation between Tsinghua and Vietnam's education community, as well as the increasing number of Vietnamese students at Tsinghua. Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh, a lecturer from Vietnam National University, provided an overview of her school's scale, characteristics, and international accomplishments. Both sides engaged in fruitful discussions on future cooperation in joint research, academic exchanges, and short-term student exchange programs.

During their visit, the delegation observed a course titled Venture Capital and Private Equity taught by Professor Lai Zongzhi. Through interactions with SIGS students from the Master of Finance Program, they experienced the academic atmosphere and teaching quality of the institute.

After the symposium, the delegation toured the campus. They were impressed by its beautiful environment and vibrant academic atmosphere.This visit has laid a solid foundation for further cooperation. Both parties plan to explore more collaborative opportunities in academic research, talent development, and international cooperation.
