The Tsinghua SIGS Commencement Ceremony 2025 was held on the morning of June 19 at the International Conference Center of Shenzhen University Town. As of June, 1282 students graduated from SIGS, including 1177 master’s students and 105 doctoral students.
Attendees included party secretary of SIGS, Liu Huiqin; dean of SIGS, Ouyang Zheng; other school leaders and representatives of faculty advisors, graduates, staff, alumni, and graduates’ family members. Guan Tian, deputy party secretary of SIGS, hosted the event.
Ouyang Zheng, dean of SIGS, expressed warm congratulations to the students who have successfully completed their studies and are about to embark on a new journey in life. Wang Qian, Tsinghua alumni, and Fu Haohuan, professor from Institute of Data and Information, delivered speeches and offered advice to the graduates. Three student representatives, Li Han, Ren Junjie, and Pius Otwil, also spoke at the ceremony.
Before the commencement ceremony, graduates participated in a long-distance run around campus.
