On July 7, a delegation from Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS), led by Associate Dean Zuo Jian'e, visited Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in Vladivostok, Russia, for discussions and a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The meeting was attended by FEFU Vice President Evgeny E. Vlasov and several deans from the university.
During the meeting, Zuo Jian'e introduced Tsinghua SIGS's development, international cooperation achievements, and future plans, extending an invitation to FEFU faculty and students for academic exchanges and further studies. He highlighted that Tsinghua SIGS, with its 6+1 disciplinary structure, aims to actively promote collaboration in multiple fields, including marine sciences, and explore long-term cooperation models such as dual-degree programs to foster disciplinary innovation.
Evgeny E. Vlasov presented FEFU's Floating University international cooperation initiative and welcomed SIGS's participation in the program. He emphasized that Chinese universities are key partners and expressed hope for joint exploration of cooperative education projects to deepen collaboration in education and scientific research.
