A new chapter begins! Orientation Day 2025 was successfully held on August 28, welcoming our newest cohort to Tsinghua SIGS. This annual event marked the exciting official start of their graduate journey and a world of new possibilities.
This year, the incoming student body includes over 1,900 new graduate students, comprising approximately 370 doctoral candidates and 1,560 master’s students.
This diverse cohort includes international students from 56 different countries. Many have already demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in various fields during their undergraduate and graduate studies.
With the warm help and guidance of our staff and volunteer students, the new arrivals quickly completed the series of registration procedures, including identity verification, tuition payment, student ID collection…
With ambition and expectation, they have now embarked on their journey at a leading hub of technological innovation, poised to define the next chapter of their lives and careers. This journey officially begins with Orientation Day, which marks the start of an exciting and unforgettable graduate experience for all new students.
