Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS) achieved a record number of scholars on the 2025 World's Top 2% Scientists List, jointly released by Stanford University and Elsevier.
A total of 29 researchers were named in the Career-Long Impact list, accounting for approximately 12.13% of the institute's faculty, while 71 scholars were featured in the Single-Year Impact list, representing about 29.7% of the faculty. These numbers mark an increase of 9 and 16 scholars respectively, compared to the previous year.
The recognized scholars at Tsinghua SIGS span a total of 22 sub-fields, including Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, Artificial Intelligence & Image Processing, Network & Telecommunications, Optoelectronics & Photonics, Energy, and Environmental Sciences.
The prestigious list identifies the top 2% of scientists from nearly 7 million worldwide by standardized citation metrics. It evaluates research impact using career-long and single-year citation data across 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields to ensure fair and comprehensive representation.
