In the afternoon of that day, Zuo Jian'e, Vice Dean of Tsinghua SIGS, delivered a speech, encouraging everyone to enhance their understanding and respect for different cultures through today's carnival and grasp the connotation of cultures without borders. Subsequently, wonderful cultural performances organized by international students of SIGS kicked off the event.

At the event site, booths of various countries flourished. The geography game at the USA booth was full of fun, allowing participants to appreciate facts, trivia and the history of the 50 states and 14 territories of the United States. The sharing of African cultural heritage and music display at the African booth was brimming with the vigorous vitality of African culture. The Greek booth exhibited the unique charm of the birthplace of democracy, philosophy and drama, and Mediterranean cuisine attracted many people to stop by. At the French food culture booth, the learning of French words, the experience of making mojitos, together with specialty snacks like baguettes, enabled everyone to feel French romance and deliciousness. Activities such as archery and Dombra challenges at the Kazakhstani booth allowed people to immerse themselves in the beauty of nomadic culture. Spring rolls and coffee from Vietnam, the photo area with Islamic architectural style and ethnic cuisine from Uzbekistan, childhood games and specialty noodles from Indonesia, samba dancing and football interaction from Brazil, and homemade Russian blinis at the Russian booth, all comprehensively displayed the cultural styles of various countries.

The China theme booths also had brilliant highlights. Through activities such as moon cake tasting, hanfu(汉服) experience, sugar painting, opera mask DIY and lantern making, they displayed the charm of traditional Chinese culture. The marble and ring tossing games at the SIGS International Students and Scholars Center also evoked everyone's childhood memories.

In addition, students from the Asian Deep Dive Program of the Asian Universities Alliance joined in the fun. They had previously started a journey the week before to explore Chinese culture and development, and this carnival became an excellent opportunity for them to further experience the uniting of diverse cultures, adding another highlight to their exploration journey.

This carnival has built a broad platform for cultural exchange among teachers and students, enabling everyone to enhance their understanding and respect for different cultures in interactive experiences, truly appreciate the profound connotation of cultures without borders, and further promote the creation of an international atmosphere on the SIGS campus.
