Tsinghua SIGS is pleased to announce that 12 of its scholars have been recognized on the Clarivate’s Highly Cited Researchers 2025 list. These influential scholars constitute 5% of our full-time faculty, highlighting their significant global impact.
The Highly Cited Researchers 2025 of Tsinghua SIGS are as below (in alphabetical order): Guo Hao, He Yanbing, Kang Feiyu (listed in three categories), Li Baohua, Liu Bilu, Lv Wei, Peng Lele, Yang Yunfeng, Zheng Bo, Zhou Dong, Zhou Guangmin (listed in two categories), and Zou Xiaolong.
Among them, Professor Kang Feiyu is listed in three categories: Environment & Ecology, Materials Science, and Chemistry. Associate Professor Zhou Guangmin is listed in two categories: Materials Science and Environment & Ecology.
Tsinghua University ranks 4th globally among all institutions, with 91 mentions on this year’s list.
According to Clarivate Analytics, a total of 6,868 scholars from 60 countries and regions worldwide have been named Highly Cited Researchers in 2025. Highly Cited Researchers are selected for their exceptional research performance, determined by production of multiple highly cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for their fields and publication year in Web of Science over the past decade.
