New MoU Strengthens SIGS Ties with Thai Higher Education

Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the International College of Digital Innovation at Chiang Mai University during a Tsinghua University delegation visit to Thailand.


The Tsinghua delegation, led by Guo Yong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Tsinghua University Committee, visited Chiang Mai University on Feb. 25.

Zuo Jian’e, Associate Dean of Tsinghua SIGS, signed the agreement on behalf of the school. Under the agreement, both sides will expand cooperation in areas including joint research projects, degree programs, student exchanges, academic exchange activities, and industry practice opportunities for students.


In addition, Tsinghua University signed a separate MoU with Chiang Mai University to further strengthen collaboration.


Founded in 1964, Chiang Mai University has a long history of providing high-quality education.


During the trip, the delegation also visited Chulalongkorn University, the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, and Charoen Pokphand Group, a Thailand-based multinational conglomerate, to enhance cooperation.

Following their trip to Thailand, the delegation visited Singapore to further enhance exchanges and cooperation with universities, businesses, and international organizations in Southeast Asia.
