From April 22 to 28, a delegation from Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS), led by Associate Dean Zuo Jian’e, visited universities and institutions in Vietnam and Indonesia to further expand education and research cooperation in Southeast Asia.
The delegation visited Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the National Economics University in Vietnam on April 22 and 23, respectively.

Representatives from each side engaged in discussions on student and faculty exchanges, joint scientific research, and the joint hosting of academic activities. Tsinghua SIGS also invited students from the two universities to study at SIGS and attend the SIGS Global Summer School, a platform for students to expand their international outlook, engage in cross-cultural communication, and exchange with peers worldwide.
On April 23, Tsinghua SIGS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CMC University, marking the official establishment of a strategic cooperative relationship between the two sides. Zuo also invited outstanding students from CMC University to attend the SIGS Global Summer School.

On the same day, the delegation visited CMC Corporation, a telecommunications infrastructure company in Vietnam. Both sides engaged in discussions on topics including the recommendation of outstanding students, the joint cultivation of AI talent, research collaboration, and the co-organization of academic forums.

From April 23 to 27, the delegation also visited Vietnam National University, RMIT University (Vietnam), Lac Hong University, and Institut Teknologi Bandung in Indonesia to promote cooperation in faculty and student exchanges, joint scientific research, faculty training and curriculum development, joint talent cultivation programs, and the joint hosting of academic activities.

The visit to Vietnam and Indonesia deepened mutual understanding between SIGS and partner universities in Southeast Asia, expanded the cooperation network, and laid a solid foundation for future collaboration.
