A delegation from Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS), led by Dean Ouyang Zheng, visited Italy and France from Aug. 31 to Sept. 4 to promote cooperation with leading European higher education institutions.
In France, Tsinghua SIGS signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoU) and a student exchange agreement with Chimie ParisTech – PSL to jointly develop a model project for China-France higher education cooperation, laying the foundation for long-term, stable collaboration and marking a new stage in the school's engagement with Europe.

Nicolas Sennequier, Director of Chimie ParisTech - PSL, welcomed the delegation and introduced the educational positioning of Chimie ParisTech - PSL and its research strengths in chemistry, materials science, and life and health sciences.
Ouyang Zheng noted that the two sides have highly complementary disciplines and broad prospects for cooperation. Going forward, the two sides will advance cooperation on joint research, co-supervision of PhD students, and faculty and scholar exchanges.
As France’s leading engineering school, Chimie ParisTech - PSL has been training chemical and general engineers for the past 120 years and focuses on frontier areas of advanced chemistry, new materials, energy, and environmental chemical engineering.
The SIGS delegation visits Politecnico di Milano.
The delegation visits Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca in Italy.
The delegation visits Institut Supérieur d'Électronique de Paris.
The delegation also visited Politecnico di Milano, Tsinghua University’s base in Milan, Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, and Institut Supérieur d'Électronique de Paris and held in-depth discussions on disciplinary development, research collaboration, talent cultivation, and exchanges.
The visit further expanded channels for Sino-European high-level talent cultivation and supported the school’s efforts to further develop its global network.
