Third International Conference on Energy Storage Materials successfully held

The Third International Conference on Energy Storage Materials (ICEnSM) was held at the Shenzhen University Town Conference Center from November 29 to December 1. The conference invited well-known experts and scholars from China and abroad to discuss the research and industrialization of advanced energy storage materials and devices, and attracted more than 600 participants from universities and research institutions worldwide.

The conference was divided into 7 sessions, with topics of Lithium, Sodium, Potassium Ion Batteries, Lithium-Sulfur Batteries, Multivalent Ion Storage, Supercapacitors & Hybrid Devices, Metal Air Batteries & Flow Batteries, New Concept & New Device” and “Battery Recycling and Utilization. It aimed to provide domestic and international researchers with an opportunity to communicate and collaborate, as well as promote basic research and industrial applications of energy storage and conversion materials.

During the conference, Prof. Cheng Huiming, editor-in-chief of the Energy Storage Material magazine (EnSM) also announced the winners of the annual EnSM awards. To recognize those who have made significant contributions and innovations in the field of energy storage and conversion materials, the journal nominates outstanding scientists for the EnSM Award, EnSM Young Scientist Award, Best Paper Award, Top Cited Paper Award and Best Reviewers each year. Published by Elsevier, the Energy Storage Material magazine was formally indexed by SCI this year.

First held in 2017, ICEnSM is hosted by Tsinghua SIGS, Institute of Metal Research of CAS and the Shenzhen Geim Graphene Center, and co-organized by Elsevier and the Industry-University-Institute Cooperation Innovation Alliance for Advance Battery and Materials.
