On September 24 to 27, Tsinghua President Qiu Yong and members of the leadership team traveled to Japan as part of the University’s efforts to further its global network. The recent visit builds upon Tsinghua SIGS’ partnership with Kyoto University in 2018 and signed new agreements with Nagoya University and Waseda University.
The newly signed Memorandum of Cooperation called for higher levels of collaboration between Tsinghua and Japanese universities by establishing joint double degree graduate programs, creating platforms that encourage scientific research cooperation and facilitating student exchange and faculty visits.
