In December, the 3rd Tsinghua Symposium was held in Shenzhen where international and domestic scholars gathered to share their views on the new era of scientific revolution and social progress. Renowned academicians, government officials, academic leaders, and representatives from companies such as SK Group, Tencent, Huawei, and BYD participated in the symposium.

The Tsinghua Hong Kong-Macao Symposium also took place as part of the event series. Guests delivered keynote speeches on the unique advantages of Hong Kong and Macao in national reform and opening up in the new era, attracting more than 100,000 views online. The symposium aimed to build an exchange platform among speakers, highlight opportunities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and promote the development of the region.
