Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS) upholds the philosophy of encouraging diverse development and actively fosters campus cultural development. The school is committed to providing students with a variety of platforms for growth. Currently, there are 50 registered student organizations at Tsinghua SIGS, spanning seven categories: public welfare practice, technological innovation, ideological and political development, cultural and sports activities, arts and culture, volunteer services, and mutual support and self-discipline. These organizations cater to students with different academic backgrounds and interests.
Statistics show that more than a thousand students are involved in these organizations, significantly enhancing participation in campus cultural activities. By promoting comprehensive development of individual talents and interests, these organizations also strengthen communication and collaboration among students, enriching campus cultural life. The sustainable development of student organizations plays a crucial role in improving the overall cultural atmosphere of the school and advancing campus diversity.
In addition, Tsinghua SIGS places a strong emphasis on physical education. Each year, the school organizes numerous sports competitions and games, where students can participate individually or as part of a team. The Ma Yuehan Cup, an annual sports gala of Tsinghua University, sees representatives from Tsinghua SIGS compete in events such as track and field, ball games, and even chess.
