On September 27th, the Conference on Advancing Industry-Education Integration for Cultivating Outstanding Engineers was held in Beijing, where the first batch of certificates for excellent cases in the reform of cultivating outstanding engineers nationwide were awarded. Tsinghua SIGS' case was selected as one of these national excellent cases.

This case revolves around the core objective of cultivating innovative practical abilities in outstanding engineers. It has established a progressive three-stage innovative practical curriculum system consisting of professional experiment courses - interdisciplinary innovation courses - enterprise base practice courses, enabling students to enhance their abilities from domain-specific technical skills to cross-domain innovative abilities, and ultimately to solve complex real-world engineering problems. This innovative practical curriculum system stands in stark contrast to traditional knowledge-transmission-based curriculum systems and holds typical significance and serves as a model in the process of cultivating outstanding engineers.
