^{Electronic Science and Technology (EST) closely combines the innovation and development needs of the Greater Bay Area and the national electronic information industry, and carries out research on cutting-edge scientific theories and novel high-tech applications. The PhD program fulfills the concept of "theory plus practice plus innovation" in teaching, learning, research and implementation, and aims to cultivate high-level outstanding talents and global scientific and technological leaders equipped with a solid foundation, practical emphasis, and pioneering spirits.}

^{Training Objectives}

^{The discipline aims to enable students to not only master solid theoretical knowledge, but also participate in solving practical engineering problems, improve innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration through rigorous academic training, cutting-edge scientific research projects, and extensive and in-depth international cooperation, and ultimately cultivate doctoral students with a solid foundation, systematic professional knowledge, innovative spirit, and the ability to perform scientific research, teaching, management, and other work, and play a leading role in the information field.}

^{Graduates of EST are mainly engaged in the electronic information industry or scientific research, and go to key state-owned enterprises and scientific research institutions, as well as important private enterprises in the electronic information field such as Huawei and Xiaomi. At the same time, some graduates go to universities to serve as postdoctoral fellows or teaching positions.}
