On the morning of July 4, a delegation from the School of Business and Economics (SBE) of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), led by Dean Bany Ariffin Amin Noordin and Deputy Dean Anuar Shah Bali Mahomed, visited the Institute of Data and Information, Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS). Faculty members attending the meeting included Associate Dean Dong Yuhan, Assistant Dean Yang Peng, Associate Professor Zhang Kai, and Associate Professor Feng Haigang.

During the meeting, Dong Yuhan, on behalf of the Institute, extended a warm welcome to the UPM SBE delegation. He provided a detailed introduction to the disciplinary structure of Tsinghua SIGS, as well as the Institute's research fields, faculty and students, international collaboration programs, international student recruitment, and campus life. Bany Ariffin Amin Noordin shared insights into SBE's educational programs and distinctive features, student body size, research activities, and corporate partnerships. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on potential collaboration areas, including student training, joint courses, student exchanges, and academic cooperation. The UPM delegation expressed strong interest in the Institute's short-term programs for international students, and both parties expressed their desire to gradually promote exchanges and cooperation at various levels in the future.

This visit by the UPM delegation has laid a solid foundation for future collaboration between the Institute and UPM SBE. Both sides will expedite the signing of cooperation agreements and gradually implement collaborative projects in talent cultivation, academic exchanges, and other areas, contributing to educational innovation and development in the context of globalization.
