迄今共发表SCI论文180余篇,SCI他引6600余次,14篇入选ESI高被引论文,H因子47;近五年在《自然通讯》(Nature Commun.)、《先进材料》(Adv. Mater.)、《德国应用化学》(Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.)、《能源&环境科学》(Energy Environ. Sci.)、《先进能源材料》(Adv. Energy Mater.)、《先进功能材料》(Adv. Funct. Mater.)等SCI期刊发表论文120篇,被《自然》(Nature)、《自然纳米技术》(Nature Nanotech.)、《自然能源》(Nature Energy)、《先进材料》(Adv. Mater.)等SCI知名期刊正面引用和评价;获授权发明专利30项,实审发明专利25项,PCT专利2项;研究成果不仅获得了学术界的高度肯定,也得到产业界的广泛认可,部分成果已得到产业应用;获教育部某学者奖励计划青年学者(2018)、国家技术发明二等奖(排名第五,2017)、广东省自然科学一等奖(排名第二,2019)、第十届侯德榜化工科学技术青年奖(2018)、广东省科学技术二等奖(排名第一,2015)和深圳市自然科学二等奖(排名第一,2016),入选2015年广东省特支计划科技创新青年拔尖人才。目前主持包括国家自然科学基金面上项目、广东省科技计划项目、深圳市基础研究布局项目和横向项目,参与研究包括重大科学研究计划项目(973项目)。
