Research Description

Our group develops novel simulation methods and big-data analysis approaches, and applies them to analyze and optimize various systems and applications, including big-data, social networks, evacuation, healthcare systems, and manufacturing.

Our research is interdisciplinary. Students with a background in operations research, industrial engineering, mathematics, statistics, computer science, finance, physics, and other related areas are welcome to apply. See “Opening” session at the bottom of this webpage for details. The interdisciplinary nature of our group enables us to do research differently from everyone else. New (even crazy) ideas are valuable to us!
