跨越陌生，彼此照亮

——在2026年开学典礼上的发言

2026级环境科学与新能源技术专业硕士生 季琳（Aygozel Atayeva）

尊敬的各位老师，亲爱的同学们：

大家好！

我是季琳，来自土库曼斯坦，是环境科学与新能源技术专业硕士生。

两年前，我初次踏上中国，落地北京。那时的我满心茫然一一不会中文，不认识路，对未来充满未知。

两年后，我来到深圳，走进清华SIGS，但这一次我不再害怕。在这里，我和同学们一起搬宿舍、跑超市、做实验、互相鼓励；在“领客”计划（LINK）和身边许多同学的帮助下，我逐渐找到了归属感，也很快融入了南国清华园。

此刻，我理解每位新生的不安。请相信：迷茫正常，害怕也正常，但你并不孤单，我们会一起前行。

愿我们带着好奇与勇气，在清华SIGS共同成长，彼此照亮。接下来，请允许我用英语继续分享我的思考。

It's not about avoiding difficulties — it's about finding people who will walk through them with you. And That’s what I found here: not just a place to study, but a community that truly cares. We came from different countries and spoke different languages, but we learned to get through chaos together, celebrate small wins, and support each other up when things got hard. I’ve come to realize that real strength isn’t about being perfect — it is about showing up for each other.

So to every new student here today: don't be afraid to ask for help or lean on others. This community is ready to welcome you. Embrace the unknown, look out for each other, and remember — no one stays a stranger for long here. And I promise you: if a girl who got lost at the airport two years ago can stand here today, then so can you.

Let’s move forward — side by side.
