  • Biography

    Dr. Yuting Luo is an Assistant Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, China. Her research focuses on low-dimensional materials and electrocatalytic devices, including controllable synthesis of low-dimensional materials, self-driving discovery of materials, and electrochemical synthesis of green hydrogen and green urea. She has published over 40 academic papers and been granted 9 invention patents. Being the first- or corresponding author, she has published 19 papers in journals including Nature Catalysis, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Energy & Environmental Science, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, ACS Nano, and Chemical Society Reviews. Her works have been highlighted multiple times by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Nature Communications, Science Foundation in China, and so on. Dr. Luo serves as a reviewer for journals such as Advanced Materials, Journal of the American Chemical Society, and ACS Nano. She also serves as one of Youth Editorial Board Members for ACS Applied Nano Materials (published by the American Chemical Society) and Energy Materials and Devices (published by Tsinghua University). She is funded by the national high-level talents (youth program) grant and participated in research projects including the NSFC Key International (Regional) Collaborative Research Program and NSFC Major Program. Her honors include Carbon Emerging Young Scientists (2024), Canadian Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships (2022-2024), Beijing Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award (2022), Tsinghua University Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award (2021), and National Scholarship (2019).
