  • Research Interests

    1. Polarized photon scattering with and within complex media: to develop the theory, microscopic and macroscopic models, computation techniques and simulation programs for understanding the behavior of polarized photon as they scatter with by particles or propagate within complex turbid media, such as biological tissues. 

    2. Techniques and instrumentations based on polarized photon scattering: to develop novel polarization sensitive detection and imaging techniques and novel ways to extract quantitatively the structural features of the sample from polarizations parameters, develop new polarization instrumentations for different applications such as medical diagnosis, environmental monitoring and ocean color sensing.
