  • Biography

    Professional HistoryDr. Qi joined Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS) in August 2006 as an assistant professor. He was appointed to the position of professor in 2022, and has served as a Ph.D. advisor since 2013. Currently, Dr. Qi also serves as the deputy director of the SIGS Modern Logistics Research Institute.


    EducationDr. Qi received his Ph.D. in Geographic Information System in 2004 from Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research.

    1. Applications: Modeling, Optimization, Simulation and Information Management of Logistics Systems, including service network design, vehicle routing, warehouse planning and operation, logistics robotics and logistics data analytics.


    2. Methodologies of interest: Mixed-integer programming; nonlinear programming; stochastic programming; robust optimization; metaheuristics; machine learning.
