Image Processing and Computer Vision, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence:
Image Super-Resolution, Image Denoising, Image Deblocking, Image Quality Assessment, Face Recognition, Vein Recognition, Visual Object Detection, Stereo Vision, Autonomous Vision, Medical Image Analysis, OCR and Industry Vision Detection.
Projects
As project leader or core member, Professor Yang has completed over 10 scientific research projects of the National Key Research and Development Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, Natural Science Foundation of Shenzhen, as well as 20 technology development projects with companies such as HUAWEI and DJI.

Professor Yang has published more than 10 invention patents and more than 100 academic papers on international journals including IEEE Signal Processing Magazine, IEEE Trans. on Image Processing, IEEE Trans. on Neural Networks & Learning Systems, IEEE Trans.on Information, Forensics & Security, IEEE Trans. on Multimedia, IEEE Trans. on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Signal Processing Letters, Information Sciences, Pattern Recognition and Neurocomputing and international conferences such as ACM Multimedia、AAAI、IEEE/CVF ICCV、CVPR、ICML、ICLR、ICASSP、ICME、ICIP、IJCNN、VCIP、MICCAI、EMBC、ISBI. One journal paper has been classified as an ESI Highly Cited and Hot Paper.
