  • Biography

    Chengping Zhang is a Lecturer of English at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University. She received her PhD in English Studies from The University of Hong Kong.

    Her research focuses on English language education and British literature, particularly Victorian fiction and poetry, with an emphasis on ethical literary criticism. She has published in journals such as Philosophy and Literature and Frontiers in Psychology, and has contributed to The Literary Encyclopedia. She is also the author of a monograph on Thomas Hardy and a translator of his selected short stories.

  • Research Interests

    Her research focuses on English language education, with particular interest in communication skills, and on literary studies. Her recent work is shifting from British literature toward a broader engagement with world literature. She is also developing courses that explore Chinese culture through Chinese literature for international students.
