    Bioresponsive polymer, targeted drug delivery and controlled release system, biopharmaceutical science


    Projects

    Our researches are focused on designing and generating multifunctional bioengineered stimuli-responsive biomedical vehicle and strategies used to efficiently and effectively prevent and treat some diseases, e.g. cancer, infection, autoimmune diseases. There are four major research interests:

    1) Design and synthesis of poly(β-amino ester)-based materials library

    2) Development of neutrophil-mediated drug delivery system for immunoregulation to treat diseases like cancer and neuroinflammation

    3) Development of polycationic polymer-based therapeutics for antimicrobial resistance to improve the infection treatment

    4) Development of microneedle patch for transdermal drug delivery and skin health engineering
