Dehui Zhang is an Assistant Professor at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2021, and worked as a postdoc with Prof. Xiangfeng Duan in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Before joining THU-SIGS, he worked as a postdoc collaborating withProf. Ali Javey at the University of California, Berkeley, and as a research affiliate at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories.
His lab, the Physical Intelligence Nanosystems Lab (PIN Lab), co-designs AI algorithms with nanoscale materials and devices, integrating such hardware-software hybrids as intelligent nanosystems, aiming at sensing and computationwith high speed, data throughput, and power-efficiency. He has published first-authored papers on top-tier journals, including Science, Nature Biomedical Engineering, and Nature Communications.
