  • Biography

    Dr. Kai Zhang received both his B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Tsinghua University, China, in 1999 and 2004 respectively. His research interests include intelligent transportation systems, intelligent vehicles, new energy vehicles, intelligent sensory, and wireless optical communication. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Division of Logistics & Transportation of Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School.

  • Research Interests

    Dr. Zhang’s research is based on multi-sourced and heterogeneous information fusion, machine learning and optimization, combination of model driven and data driven methods, perception and prediction of driving environment, driving behavior, vehicle state and traffic state, as well as planning and optimization of transportation systems and EV infrastructures.
