Dr. He received his PhD in physics from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2011. He is currently a professor at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University. His research interests include full polarization imaging method and techniques (Mueller matrix polarimetry), interaction between polarized light and turbid media, polarimetric microscopy, endoscopy and their biomedical and clinical applications.

Dr. Honghui He’s research interests include full polarization imaging method and techniques (Mueller matrix polarimetry), interaction between polarized light and turbid media, polarimetric microscopy, endoscopy and their biomedical and clinical applications. He is the committee member of Biomedical Photonics Committee in Chinese Optical Society, the youth editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Lasers, a senior member of Chinese Optical Society, also a member of Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, SPIE, and Optica, Guest editor of Journal of Selected Topics in Quantum Electronics, Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences. Dr. He published more than 150 scientific research articles including Nature Communications, Science Advances, Light: Science & Applications, Advanced Photonics, Optics Letters, received more than 5500 citations with H-index of 40. Dr. He also co-authored 3 scientific book chapters, licensed more than 10 patents, and has been selected as the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025.
