    1. Graphene and other 2D material-based bio sensors and gas sensors: electrochemical sensors, optical sensors, electrical sensors, etc.

    2. Defect engineering in 2D materials: 0D (vacancies and metal single atom stabilization), 2D heterostructures/moiré patterns

    3. Insitu Raman spectroscopy to elucidate the molecular interactions with 2D materials

    4. Other 2D material-based bio-applications
