  • Research Interests

    My research focuses on the following areas:

    (1) Mass barcode-based mass spectrometry in single-cell multi-omics characterization

    (2) Interventional sampling combined with ambient ionization mass spectrometry (AIMS) in clinical biopsy and in vitro diagnosis.

    (3) Mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) for spatial multi-omics and its application in clinical disease diagnosis, preclinical drug research and development

    (4) Artificial droplet microreactors and organelles (lipid droplets/biomolecular condensates) and their applications for the in vivo synthesis of functional molecules in cells

    (5) MS characterization of biological membrane composition, structure, and functions; Construction of Artificial Lipid Molecules and Smart Response Membrane Interfaces

    Grants and Honors:

    · Principal Investigator (PI) for one National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Young Scientists Fund project and one China Postdoctoral Science Foundation General Program.

    · Co-Investigator for one National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project.

    · Recipient of the 2019 CAIA Award (Grand Prize) from the China Association for Instrumental Analysis as a core team member in the development of the Air Flow-Assisted Ionization Mass Spectrometry Imaging instrument.
