Professor Wang Pusheng is a professor at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS), a nationally recognized teaching expert in curriculum-based ideological and political education (first batch by the Ministry of Education), and the Chief Expert of Social Governance and Innovation at the Shenzhen Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences at SIGS. He serves as a doctoral supervisor for both the Information and AI Leading Engineering Ph.D. program and the Sociology of Science and Technology Ph.D. program. He is also a scholar of the Shenzhen Talent Hub Double Hundred Plan and has been selected as a University Town Master Scholar in Shenzhen. His research primarily focuses on the sociology of technology and engineering ethics. He has published 8 academic monographs and translations, and over 100 papers. Notable works include the nationally planned textbook Engineering Ethics Casebook (as editor-in-chief), the monograph Critique of Automobile Traffic, which won the First Prize for Outstanding Young Scholar Works from the Chinese Society of Dialectics of Nature, and The Founding of the British Geological Survey and the De la Beche School, which received the Science Times Reading Cup Best Popular Science Book Award. His research report Promoting Equal Access to Basic Public Services and Improving Public Service Management for the Actual Population won the First Prize of the Shenzhen Mayor's Research Project. His policy report Shenzhen's Strategic Support for Becoming a World Science Center and Talent Center was adopted by the Shenzhen Municipal Government and commended by the Organization Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee. His study Research on the University-Enterprise Joint Training Base Model for New Full-Time Master of Engineering Students won the Outstanding Achievement Award of the National Engineering Professional Degree Graduate Education Self-Selected Research Project. He has led numerous national research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China special project Reader on Research Integrity, the project commissioned by the National Engineering Degree Education Steering Committee Development of the Engineering Ethics Case Bank, and the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Research Planning Fund projects Organ Donation Research from the Perspective of the Sociology of Technology and Conflicts of Interest in Scientific Activities and Case Studies. His course Professional Ethics has been recognized as a prestigious course at Tsinghua University and a national model for curriculum-based ideological and political education. His course Marxism and Contemporary China is also a prestigious course at Tsinghua University and has won first prize for Shenzhen ideological and political model courses. He has received honors such as Advanced Individual in Scientific Research Management in Higher Education Institutions from the Ministry of Education, Shenzhen Outstanding Teacher, and Tsinghua University Outstanding Teacher.
